The Great Scottish Run

The Great Scottish Run, hosted by Glasgow City Council, is one of the UK's leading running events, attracting the world's top athletes.  In the race's 21 year history, over 22 million pounds have been raised for charity.  

The City Council supports many athletic events including an annual Women's 10k Race which is held each spring.
